Dr. Laughton and one of his associates, Dr. Michael Samis, gave a half-day short course about real asset valuation on 07 June 2004 at the Petroleum Society of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM) annual meeting in Calgary.
Dr. Laughton also gave a paper on 10 June 2004.

CIM annual meeting
09-12 May 2004, Edmonton
Dr. Laughton and two of his associates, Dt. Michale Sammis and Dr. Graham Davis, gave a one-day short course about real asset valuation on 09 May 2004 at the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM) annual meeting in Edmonton.
Dr. Laughton also organised a session on asset valuation at this meeting on 12 May 2004, at which he gave a paper.
